New figurative paintings and works on paper using imagery appropriated from film noir movies and pulp fiction novel covers.

A series of amphora, vases, and jars, using their shapes, sensuality, and semi-symetrical properties to produce images of what are essentially iconic, figure-like objects. Several of these works, along with digital prints, will form my exhibition at the Museo de la Cultura del Vino Dinastia Vivanco in La Rioja, from March 22 to June 17, 2012.
