Paintings - People and Places

The first three paintings are recent works inspired by film noir movies of the 40's and 50's. The rest were painted several years ago - people and urban landscapes paintings, with the human figure (except for the portrait) in the context of their settings depticted by stylized architectural elements. Where there are no people, the human presence is still marked by their absence.

This work is continued in the more recent Urban landscape series of oil paintings, as well in the photographs and in the film noir and urban series of digital prints. More oil paintingsare in progress and will be up soon.
